Position Details: 


  • Masters Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from an accredited institute
  • Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate
  • Valid State of Michigan administrative certificate
  • Five years teaching experience required
  • Administrative experience as a principal or assistant principal preferred. 

SKILLS:  Genesee School District is seeking candidates who are excellent communicators, have high expectations for students, are able to provide leadership to the school improvement process, and who demonstrates exceptional skills in the areas of: 

  • Instructional Leadership
  • Management of student behavior
  • Curriculum development and implementation
  • Staff evaluation and personnel administration
  • Gathering and reporting student achievement data
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, staff and community members

SALARY:  Based on education level and experience.  Base salary of $83,000
