Job Description: The Business Supervisor will manage billing and accounts receivables for the Little Glad Early Childhood Center, assist in determining rates for services, collect and review weekly time sheets, process payroll, enroll students, and play a leadership role in managing the office environment, financial policies and procedures for the office.

The Business Supervisor will also play a leadership role in the day to day operation of the Center, reporting to and assisting the Program Director. S/he will interact with families, children, and staff providing information and support. S/he will work with the Program Director to address systemic issues and to meet licensing, health, and safety regulations.

Hours: The Center is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Business Supervisor would be expected to open at least one day a week and close at least one day a week. This is a year-round, salaried position calculated at 243 days per year including vacation.

Salary $26,500 - $28,500 based on experience, plus some benefits.

Start Date: August, 2018

Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent.
Three or more years of experience in a business office environment. Experience with billing and accounts receivable. Strong technology skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office software and aptitude for learning software. Expertise in using Microsoft Excel, including data export/imports, using formulas to project numbers and comparing separate spreadsheets for data/budget analysis. Strong interpersonal skills and communication. Good organization, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills are imperative for success in this position.

Preferred Qualifications Program management and/or office leadership experience would be preferred. Experience in a preschool or child care setting would be helpful. Experience managing compliance with state regulations and state assistance agencies would also be valued.
