JOB GOAL: To effectively deal with students' and teachers' needs

QUALIFICATIONS:                                

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of office machines

PREFERENCES:                                    

  • Typing ability helpful
  • Artistic ability helpful

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:             

  • Demonstrate effective working relationship with children, teachers, and the community
  • Demonstrate comprehension and organization ability
  • Organize materials for assignments under the direction of the teacher
  • Type correspondence, purchase orders, reports, files, etc.
  • Perform duplication services
  • Maintain files
  • Assist in student testing
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

LENGTH OF DAY: 5.75 hours per day 

WEEKS OF WORK: In accordance with the AFSCME Local 3154 Master Agreement Article XXIII
LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: In accordance with the AFSCME Local 3154 Master Agreement (192 days – 11 paid holidays)
