The Board of Education for the North Central Area Schools is in search of a new Superintendent/Elementary Principal. North Central Area Schools is a K-12 district located in the Southern portion of scenic Upper Peninsula in Northern Menominee County. The district encompasses 276 square miles and is less than 40 miles from the larger communities of Escanaba, Iron Mountain,, and Menominee. The economic base is agriculture and forestry related products. Year around recreational opportunities abound. North Central Area Schools offers strong academic and extra-curricular opportunities for students. Additional district points-of-pride which address specific student needs include:

The Board is seeking a superintendent/elementary principal who is a strong collaborative leader with a solid background in curriculum and school finance.

Salary and Contract Information
The district will offer a competitive wage and benefit package (salary range $80,000 to $100,000) that reflects the experience and education of the candidate chosen as the Superintendent/Elementary Principal.
