Title I Paraprofessional


Quincy Community Schools is currently seeking an elementary Title I Paraprofessional at Jennings Elementary School.   Quincy Community Schools provides a supportive working environment centered on student success.  QCS staff work in professional learning communities to positively impact student achievement.   QCS believes that all children are important, capable, have worth, and should be treated with dignity and respect in a safe and orderly environment.  QCS is committed to hiring and retaining highly motivated staff members who support the Quincy Vision.


Title I Paraprofessional Job Description:

  • The Title I Paraprofessional will work together with the Title I staff and teachers in providing Tier II interventions.
  • The Title I Paraprofessional will attend professional development that will better enable them to perform their job.
  • The Title I Paraprofessional will work with at-risk students in reading, math, and/or content area instruction using plans written and monitored by a highly qualified teacher.
  • The Title I Paraprofessional will work during the school day for 5 ½ hours per day.
  • The Title I Paraprofessional will support Title I parent involvement activities


Title I Paraprofessional Job Requirements:

  • 60 College Credits  - or
  • Passed formal State of Michigan Academic Assessment
  • Passed ETS Parapro Assessment
