Position Details: 

General Summary: To provide the students under his/her direct supervision a quality educational program, which is appropriate for the assigned students, that meets their ability and appropriate for the subject and growth, and personal characteristics.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: ● Provide reading and/or math intervention to all students as needed, but specifically for Tier 2 and 3 reading and math students ● Rank the students from most in need to least of Title I services ● Provide Parent Notification of Title I services ● Develop a Title I schedule ● Keep a daily Time and Effort Log ● Parental involvement through meetings ● Instructional Skills/Abilities ● Demonstrate evidence of effective planning ● Demonstrate evidence of organization ● Demonstrate skill in using a variety of methods and techniques to meet the needs of students ● Have a thorough knowledge of the subject matter being taught ● Works cooperatively with administrators, student services personnel and teachers, to ensure the delivery of curriculum ● Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil, to the extent feasible ● Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district, and/or in self-selected professional growth activities ● Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress ● Participates in curriculum and other develop ● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Minimum) ● Highly qualified for position according to latest federal and state guidelines -Highly Qualified in reading and/or math ● Student focused ● Knowledgeable about 21 st Century Teaching and Learning ● Adept at using formative assessment and curricular development ● Maintains professional standards ● Possess strong interpersonal skills ● Demonstrates strong instructional technology skills. ● Ability to collect and analyze both formative and summative student assessment data ● Maintains a high level of confidentiality. ● Maintains a level of personal and professional flexibility ● Possess a high level of organization skills and ability to multi-task ● Possess effective writing skills
